Double Girder Bridge Cranes are most frequently used where capacities over 10 tons and/or spans of 60 to 100 ft are needed. They can be utilized at any capacity where extremely high hook lift is required because the hook can be pulled up between the girders. Double Girder Bridge Cranes are often used where high speeds and heavy service are required, or where the crane needs to be fitted with walkways, crane lights, cabs, magnet cable reels or other special equipment.

EMH offers several series of Double Girder Top Running Cranes, ZLW - with structural girders, ZLK - which utilize box girders, and the ZSK Series-with engineered hoists.

Two 30-ton cranes with engineered hoists handle the demanding service cycle of moving large coils for two shifts a day.		250/50 ton engineered crane undergoes load testing at a power plant. A specially engineered hoist features a service walkway to facilitate maintenance.

Two Class "D" 25 and 15 ton double girder cranes are used at this steel facility.		Four large capacity double girder cranes at a Midwestern die manufacturing plant.

30-ton cranes with walkways are used in the production process at a Pennsylvania manufacturer of mobile cranes.		This 200/50 ton radio-controlled crane loads turbines onto rail cars for shipment. Crane has a span of 75 feet, a lift of 40 feet, and uses two EMH engineered hoists.

Two 35-ton, 80 foot double girder cranes are used for precise placement of large equipment at this rewinding and repair facility for heavy duty industrial equipment. One crane also has a 20 ton auxiliary hoist to help rotate loads.		A double box girder crane features a 50 ton main hook and 20 ton auxiliary to maneuver large molds at a Midwestern automotive plastics plant. A 350 foot runway was designed, manufactured an installed by EMH. Crane and runway are completely freestanding.
